En el balance nacional ofrecido la tarde de ayer se informó que Chile alcanzó 378.168 contagiados con coronavirus y 10.205 fallecidos.

(Por Frenny Kelly Granado). En el 41° informe epidemiológico publicado este miércoles por la plataforma de vigilancia Epivigila, del Ministerio de Salud, se pudo conocer que el 60,6 % de las comunas del país tienen una trazabilidad igual o superior al 90 %, mientras que 18 de ellas no superan el 70 %.

Este es el resultado del trabajo que se ha hecho en cuanto a la estrategia de Testeo, Trazabilidad y Aislamiento, por el cual el ministro de Salud, Enrique Paris, felicitó a los funcionarios del Departamento de Estadísticas e Información de Salud (Deis) ya los de los Servicios de Atención Primaria.

El documento permite saber cuáles son los porcentajes alcanzados en cada una de las comunas del país mediante dos aspectos que, por un lado, involucran la proporción de casos informados, en los cuales inicia la investigación epidemiológica e identificación de contactos estrechos antes de 48 horas, y por el otro, la proporción de contactos nuevos donde se aplica la misma estrategia de indagación.

La subsecretaria de Salud Pública, Paula Daza, explicó que, en el primer caso, “de los casos confirmados, se realiza la investigación epidemiológica antes de 48 horas y se pregunta el estado de salud de las personas, se le dan las indicaciones de aislamiento, si requiere o no residencia sanitaria, y se hace la búsqueda de sus contactos estrechos”.

En el segundo indicador que es “·investigación epidemiológica de los contactos estrechos se los contacta antes de las 48 horas, se les notifica su condición, les hacen las mismas preguntas y se le dan las indicaciones de aislamiento”.

En tanto el secretario de Estado dijo que “¡vamos Mejorando!”, pero el “camino es difícil”, respecto al control de la pandemia, en el balance nacional ofrecido la tarde de ayer, cuando se informó que el país alcanzó 378.168 contagiados con coronavirus y 10.205 fallecidos.

Paris aseguró que “tenemos una reducción de 12 % a 14 días”, mientras que la tasa de positividad de exámenes PCR a nivel nacional alcanzó este martes en la noche un 7,96 % con 19.348 muestras procesadas en 104 laboratorios del país, que permitieron detectar a 1.540 nuevos infectados con covid-19.

El testeo también permitió confirmar que las 27 personas cuyas defunciones fueron inscritas en el Registro Civil entre el 27 de julio y el 7 de agosto tenían coronavirus al momento que perdieron la vida; con ello el actualizó la cifra de decesos registrados en el país.

De los nuevos pacientes que fueron notificados hasta las 21:00 horas del martes 1.071 presentaron síntomas y 421 son asintomáticos; pero, además, se descubrió que otros 48 son casos sin notificar al Minsal tenían diagnósticos positivos mediante PCR realizadas con anterioridad.

Hasta ahora 351.419 se han recuperado en todo el país lo que deja un total de 16.544. casos activos, siendo 4.902 los que siguen hospitalizados. 1.255 de estos pacientes están en Unidades de Cuidados Intensivos (UCI) y 973 conectados a ventilación mecánica.
