49% de avance tienen las obras del nuevo Edificio Consistorial de la Municipalidad de Chañaral

Una visita a las obras en ejecución del nuevo edificio consistorial de Chañaral, efectuó el Seremi (s) del MOP, a fin de constatar en terreno el avance de la infraestructura que alcanza una inversión de $5.860.402.729 por parte del Gobierno y que reemplazará a la antigua edificación que fue gravemente dañada tras el aluvión del año 2015.

La obra que está siendo ejecutada por la Dirección de Arquitectura del Ministerio de Obras Públicas es cofinanciada con recursos del Fondo Reconstrucción de Ciudades, asignado por la Subsecretaria de Desarrollo Regional y Administrativo (SUBDERE) a la Ilustre Municipalidad de Chañaral y el Fondo Nacional de Desarrollo Regional (FNDR) y aprobado por el Consejo Regional de Atacama (CORE).

Al respecto, el Seremi (S) Marco Ilabaca, señaló, “estamos muy conformes con el 49% de avance que lleva esta importante obra ya que será un gran complemento para la ciudad, un moderno edificio con instalaciones modernas y con un aporte urbano que potenciará el nuevo centro cívico de la comuna, poniendo en valor su entorno inmediato, como por ejemplo la plaza de armas. Este nuevo Edificio Consistorial, es un proyecto anhelado por todos sus habitantes y forma parte del Plan de Modernización de los edificios municipales, que lleva a cabo el Gobierno de Chile a través del Ministerio de Obras Públicas”.

Destacó además la autoridad que “con la ejecución de este importante hito contribuimos con la reactivación económica en la región a través del Plan de Recuperación del Gobierno, la construcción es un sector muy intensivo en uso de mano de obra, de ahí la importancia que tiene en este plan, que está focalizado en la creación de nuevos puestos de trabajo y con esta obra generamos 100 puestos de trabajo al mes aproximadamente”.

Sobre los detalles técnicos el Seremi (S), informó, que “el nuevo Edificio Consistorial, tendrá una superficie edificada de 2.040 m2, 985 m2 de estacionamiento subterráneo y bodegas, conformado en hormigón armado en los tres niveles. Estas características permitirán atender al público en espacios y dependencias acordes a los requerimientos de la comunidad, mejorando considerablemente las condiciones de trabajo de los funcionarios municipales. En definitiva será un inmueble de alto estándar que estará al servicio de la comunidad y que con su aporte arquitectónico contribuirá al crecimiento de la comuna”.
